Nonstop 5:30am EMWs — schedule issue, overtired, or just toddler life?

Anyone deal with nonstop EMWs (early morning wakes) with their toddler?

My daughter has been waking around 5:30am every single day and will NOT go back to sleep. I don’t take her out of her crib until 7am, and she usually just lays there rolling around, playing with her binkies, and hanging out quietly… but she’s definitely awake.

Current schedule:
DWT: 7:00am
Nap: 1:00–2:15pm
Bedtime: 8:00pm

I’m not understanding why this change all of a sudden because she was sleeping 8pm-7am straight a few weeks ago.

I’m hesitant to cut awake time because I really don’t want to risk split nights, but I’m wondering if her schedule needs adjusting? Too much wake time? Overtired? Undertired?

Would love to hear what worked for others because these 5:30 mornings are brutal.

First 2.5mg Tirz Dose Hit Me Hard — Would Microdosing Be a Better Option?

I’m looking for thoughts/experiences from anyone who’s been in a similar spot with tirzepatide, but I am also planning to talk to my PCP and the FNP who prescribed/administered it before making any decisions.

For context: I’m a 27F currently 145lbs and my goal weight is 130. I’m not trying to lose a massive amount, but I do want help with weight food noise / PCOS symptoms / etc.

I recently started tirzepatide at 2.5 mg (first dose), and I think I may have been more sensitive to it than I expected. Looking back, I think a big part of my issue was probably a combo of not eating the best, not drinking nearly enough water/electrolytes, and letting constipation go too long — which seemed to spiral.

It got bad enough that I ended up going to the ER for dehydration, stomach cramping, constipation then diarrhea, and overall feeling awful. In hindsight, I honestly think I probably could have managed it at home better if I had been more proactive early on with hydration, electrolytes, constipation prevention, and cleaner eating… but in the moment it felt scary and overwhelming.

Now I’m trying to figure out whether:

  1. This was more of a “user error / first dose learning curve” situation
    or
  2. I’m genuinely super sensitive to tirzepatide and might do better discussing microdosing or a slower titration approach with my PCP/FNP.

My questions:
- Has anyone else reacted this strongly to 2.5 mg?
- Did anyone have severe GI issues early on but do fine later with better hydration/fiber/electrolytes?
- Has microdosing (with provider guidance) helped anyone reduce side effects while still getting benefits?
- If you were very sensitive, did you stay on it or switch approaches? What was your dose?

I know Reddit isn’t medical advice, and I’m definitely talking to my doctors — I’m mostly looking for personal experiences from people who’ve been through something similar.

Appreciate any insight!

My husband and I have decided to be one and done because being a parent is fucking HARD. We have our daughter and she’s perfect and I don’t feel like I need to be anyone else’s mom but when do things get easier? She’s 17 months right now and we are in the toddler trenches.

My husband and I are both 27 and have great, well paying jobs but we both work 40 hours a week. Where are we supposed to have the time to clean the house, cook, take care of our 2 dogs, spend time with our toddler, see friends and family, workout, and have date nights???

Any tips / am I missing something that would make this phase easier? I feel like i’m drowning and when I do have free time at the end of my day or on weekends I am absolutely exhausted and would rather sleep than take time for myself.
