Hey guys! I’m a new rider and just picked up a 2025 Ninja 500 in white (love the look!). I’m currently stuck on which boots to get and would love your thoughts.

I’m debating between the Alpinestars Supertech R Vented and the Alpinestars Stella SMX-6 V3 Vented. I know the Supertechs are roughly double the price, but they look so awesome in the full white/high visibility colors! :)

My concerns:

• Is it overkill? I mainly want them because they look cool and match my bike perfectly, but I’m a new rider mostly doing 55–60 mph on main roads.
• Heat & Ventilation: I live in Central Florida. Does the inner booty system in the Supertech R trap more heat, or is the ventilation still good enough for the humidity?
• Female Fit: I rarely see women wearing these full-height race boots in photos. Does anyone have experience with how they fit or look on women?
• My mom lol: My mom wants me to get casual-looking moto shoes, but I really prefer the full boot protection and style.

Are the Supertechs worth the extra $$$ for the street, or should I just stick with the Stella SMX-6 V3? Would there be a fitment issue since the supertech boots are men boots? I have a slim foot and i find that men shoes in general are pretty wide.

Hey guys! I’m a girl rider in Central Florida and just picked up a 2025 Ninja 500! I need some help deciding on my first "real" gear setup. I’ve narrowed it down to two very different paths:

1. Full Leather Race Suit: I love the look and maximum safety. I know people say it's way too hot for FL, but I’m a very "cold" person normally. Does the wind at speed actually cool you off enough to make leather bearable here? I plan on getting a race suit that isn't black so that might help?
2. Pando Moto AAA Base Layers: I know these are awesome for hot weather because they’re thin and I can wear whatever over them.

My Riding Style:

Since Florida drivers don't know what a blinker is, I’m avoiding highways for now while I get comfortable. I’m mostly doing 55–60 mph on main roads.

The Big Question: For those in hot states, what temperature is officially "too hot" for your race suit?

Context for this post:
I currently have a PC (pictured above) and my brother needs one too. It doesn't need to be as crazy as mine (9600x and a 5070ti). He just needs something that is upgradeable, affordable, and better than a laptop lol.

I just really want him to be on AM5 not AM4 for the CPU. I plan on having him work to get his own upgrades, i just want to give him a base. His birthday is in August, he is 10, i want to surprise him.

What will he use this PC for?
Right now he codes a lot of games on Godot, and he tried to download unity but it keeps crashing on his laptop. He also loves having a billion tabs open 😭. He also likes playing some minecraft. He doesnt play any shooter games, he loves seeing "high fps" but he doesnt really need it tbh. But his main focus is game development and coding

TLDR + extra info:

• AM5 CPU, and easy to upgrade
• Reasonable price, maybe you can give me a few options and tell me what is best (cheap, mid, expensive)
• i would love if you guys give me a few options for parts
• budget is below 1k (not including screen or peripherals)
