What's up guys, first time posting a for sale on this sub, have plenty of feedback on other sites (ebay, tacswap, gafshub, ar15 .com) that I am more than happy to verify. Device is still in warranty, confirmed with samsung directly and have screenshots.

Have for sale a Unlocked (originally att) Galaxy Z Fold 7, 256gb, black. There is some scuffing around the bezels on the device, but the both the front and main screens are in excellent, pretty much perfect condition. Factory installed main screen protector never removed and still applied. Front screen always had tempered glass protector. Everything on this device functions 100% as it should. The only noteworthy flaw is the bezel scuffs.

Device is completely unlocked and I have written confirmation from att. I am currently connected to the t-mobile network.

So I currently have a z fold 7 I purchased on marketplace registered unter protection 360.

I really want to switch to a Global variant of either the Oppo Find N6 or Honor v6 (when Global version is released). My main concern with that has always been the lack of warranty support or insurance options in the US.

However, I've now learned that protection 360 covers the line itself and not the device. This seemingly would mean that if I activated a Oppo or Honor onto my line, the device would be covered.

My other question is in the event of a claim - would assurant even have the ability to replace such a device as they're not retailed directly in the US? Would they just provide cash compensation or similar?

I can't find any info regarding this specific scenario and wondering if anyone can provide some insight.
