I honestly haven't seen a single post about it and I consider myself a frequent lurker of this sub. I was wondering what people thought about what direction this book should go in. I think Rick Riordan said he might be done after this because he has no experiencr writing a non middle grade book. Though to be honest it would be nice to see him write about an older Percy perhaps well into his 20s.

I want to start off by saying I'm an Atheist in the sense that I don't believe in "God/s" as a literal being and don't believe in places like heaven, hell or places olympus or asgard as supernatural places. However you *could* call me theistic in practice because I live as if all gods exists and think heaven and hell are experiences you can have subjectively. I am "theistic" in the sense that I believe worshipping any god does have an effect in your life because you are bringing that fictional being's abstract structure into the equation of how your life plays out. So do I worship the gods? Yes I do but no I don't believe in them as literal all knowing or all powerful beings. Something like a religious atheist fictionalist. I think the gods exist as little pieces scattered across the universe in some poetic sense. Like someone might have a personality similar to one of the gods so in a poetic sense he's related to that god. Etc.

These people are insufferable. Especially my mom and most of the elders in my family if im being honest. They're constantly belittling catholics, JWs, atheism (to a lesser extent and call it being of the world) etc. Also they think they know everyone's relationship with God. They "know" who needs to go and find God. In my opinion these people are butt kissers or teachers pets for lack of a better way to vent my frustration at the moment. Praising God 24/7. Like what happened to YOUR identity. God doesn't want you to forget your own self like that. Also these people have for some reason claimed prayer as a superpower for them to use in whatever way they see fit. They try to use this superpower of prayer and their authority to change the outcome of events like wtf I didn't know you were doctor strange now??
