I want to run a workshop to help people who want to dump Windows switch to Linux. What’s the best way to go about this?

As some of you may know there’s a mass exodus from Windows to Linux right now. When Microsoft cut off support for Windows 10 in October and wouldn’t let millions of perfectly good laptops upgrade to Windows 11, it left many customers out in the cold with no option other than to buy a new laptop, or switch to Linux. Unfortunately, many people are still intimidated by it or don’t know how to install it themselves. I’m a Linux evangelist and I want to run a work shop to help people with this. What’s a good place to do it and way to get the word out? Do you think the library would let me do it there?

Mint on a Surface Laptop. The ultimate 🖕🏻to Microslop

This was so satisfying. The hardware of the surface and build quality are nice. Linux run’s beautifully.

I bought the cheapest Windows 11 laptop I could find on Amazon for overnight delivery and installed Linux Mint on it.
