90 or 92 per cent fsrs desired retention?

does it really make a difference between 90% and 92%? i decided not to study using the book, instead using material that older students gave me; since i don’t use the book; though, i want to retain as much as i can of these informations, and thought of upgrading my fsrs desired retention but don’t know if it is useful or not. what else would you consider in my situation?

which are the best among this list of medical universities?

Please, give me your honest opinion about these universities in the medical field (not qs or other crappy rankings); my university collaborate with them but some of them require a language certificate (spanish, france), so first i decide which university is the best for an internship, and then i start learning the language needed.

University of Oulu-finland

Université Claude Bernard LYON 1-france

Université Catholique de Lille-france

Pavol Jozef Safárik University in Kosice-slovakia

Université de Lausanne-swiss

Semmelweis University-hungary

there is also KU leuven university in belgium, which i think is the best (based on rankings), but it requires just an english b2, that everyone has. and i'm scared i'll be surpassed but someone with higher grades, so i'm finding a plan B

will i have trouble with fsrs?

basically i had this test a couple days ago, and i was wondering if not repeting those exam's flashcards will affect fsrs when i'll optimise it

i’m preparing histology exam in a non-english speaking country (so i can’t use an existing deck). is it realistically possible to study while making flashcards about almost the whole exam? let me break it down.

the program is: Epithelial, connective, adipose, cartilaginous, boney, blood, nervous muscle.
then, the organs part (which includes histological slides):
digestive, respiratory, urinary, female reproductive, lymphatic (already studied tegumentary and male reproductive and it took me 5-6 days).
everything already cited + embryology. approximately 600 book pages only the histology part.

hi everyone. i’m an italian university student, and in order to unlock more occasions around the world (since i study medicine, and i’d like to make some experience abroad, and my university collaborate with french university which require a b2 in order to spend a period there; or do my residency in another country), i’d like to learn french. i’m currently in my first year, so i’m not in a rush, but the sooner the better so that i can think of learning a fourth language (italian, english, french and maybe german) or either focus on french and get a c1.

i thought of doing a1-a2 as self-learner, and then attend a b1 course in my 2nd md year, and a b2 in my third md year. does it sounds good? can i be capable of doing b1 also by myself? is it a difficult language? i’m an italian native so someone told me i wouldn’t have found it that hard. thank you 🙏🏽

I'm 19 years old from near napoli (so i accept italian answers) and I've been in favour of Naples for a lifetime. Thanks to my father and many of his contacts I have autographed jerseys (a pair of higuains) and I also have a photo with the pipita.

I've always respected him despite choosing the "dark side", and I'm here today to ask a question, since I don't remember much about 10 years ago (since I was very young).

Is it really the fault of higuain core 'ungrateful? Or does it have something to do with ADL? Please answer honestly and not with a personal influence (although I think there is no real answer, but all the hatred has been poured on higuain). My idea is that he realised his potential after the great 36-goal season, and given the little purchasing power of adl, therefore the little propensity to form a winning team at an international level, he decided to go to a team that at the time showed a lot (precisely Juventus).

COME ON NAPOLI ALWAYS 💙

i was considering buying an anki remote, but i found different opinions about it. people say that it might be small for adult and suggest using a console controller (i don’t have that big of an hand, but i have to go through 200 old + 100 new flashcards a day)

i study in a great italian university, and they have lots of languages courses.

i’m a first year student and i really want to start studying seriously a third language if it can help me in my career (other than italian as a native speaker and english, in which i’m attending a b2 class and getting b2 cambridge degree in september hopefully 🤞🏾 );

i was thinking about german o french, but also spanish might be a good choice since lots of people in the us speak spanish and it might look good on a us internship application.

thanks for your time! 🙏🏽

hi. i’m just starting to use anki and i noticed lots of people talking about FSRS. i managed to set it up using AI’s help, but i’m still skeptical. can someone link me an actual guide or help me throughout the setting phase as a new user?
