Hey, I was planning on taking Ceng 510 from May to June, but it seems the class may have been cancelled as the first class was supposed to be today, and I have not been given access to the D2L. The student portal shows I am still enrolled, but the classroom section displays "cancelled". I have emailed them, but have not received a response.

I had to email them. I did not get any email from them about any cancellation.

What do you believe is happening here?

It is weird to think about, but one day, someone will be able to Google "what is the one piece" and get the answer.

The curiosity to just know the answer will "ruin" the series for a lot of people (One Piece is about more than just the treasure). That is not to mention the minefield that social media, like YouTube, will be for a new reader.

My bigger question is, will the one piece make sense out of context, and will knowing it make possible new readers reconsider? For example, if it is Sake that sounds lame as hell out of context (even in context, I don't like it, but that's a different point).

Then there is also the idea that there would be this divide between people who read before and after the treasure was revealed, with the latter not being able to speculate as freely (mainly for fear of spoilers) as the former. Speculation is a big part of the community, so there would be a change there. Of course, this is in the context of the online community

Just overall, how do you think the community will change when the biggest question in the series is answered?
