I'm taking this online one with Gorgie and most of his grade are tricky quizzes. I don't know how he grades, there are like 3 essays but I need to finish with an A. I am not doing that great with these quizzes and they don't show the correct answers after.

Anyone had this experience? Not sure if I should drop and take it with another professor, there is no engagement and this feels like a Coursera class. There is no extra credit, no discussion posts, nothing..

I am a woman and it's mostly from other women, typically older. I work at this place and this female coworker always snaps at me no matter how nice I am to her. My other coworker ignores her for the same reason. She is always trying to chat with me just to twist things or be nosy and make dismissive comments.

I am a non-traditional student who decided to go to college after been out of HS for years. That coworker heard that and yeah she said that's stupid and college is bad. She continues treating me like I am stupid, always pretending that she doesn't understand my accent (others have no issue) and acting as if I don't understand how the US works just because I am not from here.

I met another lady, I actually had to work on a volunteer project with her. She moved here when she was a kid and she told me she attended a top university and owns a house in a rich area. Nothing wrong with that but when she heard I am in community college she dismissed it and said that is like HS, not important and why do I want to even transfer to a university and why I even moved here from another country. She was acting like a friend but I guess not.

And I get other kind of comments by others, like why I don't have a BS yet and decided to go to college now instead of having kids. BTW I live in California and yeah I receive that kind of treatment.

I have read a lot... but not sure. Need that class and a Scholars class. Took a bunch of PoliSci classes already and I don't know what to expect. Took Philosophy 52 before which is similar.
