Almost everyone gripes about how bad Outlier is all day, but it's amazing how responsive, helpful, and understanding Outlier actually is. They've taken action every time I've posted a suggestion or request. It looks like they really sift through the drivel to find real feedback.

Keeping the Aether timer reset at 8 am PT makes a meaningful difference for US taskers.

Thank you.

I have a stationary car on private property. I want to tint the windshield to reduce interior heat. Other windows are tinted and covered by an opaque suede sunshade, and it's very effective. No sunlight reaches the interior. The only remaining problem is the windshield. I want to tint it so it looks discreet then put the same suede fabric or whatever else behind it.

Roughly, what would be the interior temperature difference between:
- 5% static cling (G-Cling 05 specifically, which claims: 5% of VLT (95% Of light Blocked), 67% of IR (Infrared) Blocked, 98% of UV (Ultraviolet) Blocked)
- 5% ceramic tint

The car is exposed to the Florida sun all day. The windows are closed and cannot be left cracked/open. For reference, I currently have a Magnelex sunshade on the windshield, but with the back side (black) facing out because it's more discreet at night (I cannot keep flipping sides). At noon on a sunny 80 degree day, the interior is 90 degrees. At midnight, the interior is 80 degrees.

I am open to using a reflective sunshade behind the tint/static cling if it'll help, as long as it won't be visible at night.

Please let me know any thoughts you might have. Thank you.
