9.3k for a 2019 with 196k?

I know I was posting the other day about a 2010 .. but I haven't pulled the trigger yet .. that one's still there, I think.. I'm looking at other options (most of which do NOT last very long in inventory .. unlike that 2010...) but I just came across a 2019 with 200k on it. They want 9.3k on it. It's at a Toyota dealer.

The Carfax says one minor accident, passenger side, looks like it was so minor it did no visible damage, because there's no visible damage from the pics, and there's no carfax reports of repair on it, and if it had been repaired by insurance, i'm mostly sure that it would've been done by someone who reports to CarFax. Though it is possible that it could've been repaired by someone who doesn't report to carfax .. anyway, minor damage to the passenger side it said. Nothing was visible from the photos, though. It's 40 miles away from me, so all I can go on right now are the photos, but I am probably going to go and take a look at it first thing in the morning, if it's still there.

The photos look really damn good, I would absolutely not guess that the car has been driven 200k miles almost all of them between when it was purchased by it's second owner around end of May 2021 at 33k miles to end of April 26 at 196k miles... that's right around 2600 miles per month, someone had a hell of a commute with that car. . . about 85 miles a day average.. On the bad side, the CarFax does not show any maintenance besides a single tire replacement done during it's second owner's time owning it. So, zero record of that is .. not good, right? I mean, even if you stop at most quick oil change places, those even report these days, don't they?

For sure, I need to look at the battery health, and it seems that there's been an issue with the coolant lines running through the cat? Of course, with zero record of any maintenance done on that, unless it was done by the first owner (a fleet owner, government, could possibly have had that repair done in it's first couple of years), that has probably not been repaired .. anyone have any idea what the cost of doing that repair would be, long out of warranty? Or the cost of getting someone to hack around it? :-D

Anything else to look at ?

Or... is this just too high a price to pay for this? Should I move on?

This is something I'd probably keep for quite a while, my '07 is going to have 400k on it pretty soon, but that's the ex's car now... and we've had that in the family for 14 years...

edit: i'm probably going to go have a look, but unless they are willing to drop pretty significantly on price, i don't think this is gonna be the one. this is too high, and unless their online version of the carfax is significantly edited out and they have a better one they can show me with real maintenance records, lack of records is no bueno. for all i know they ran it 50k between oil changes. and it could still be on original everything beyond tires with 200k. They do have a bunch of other cars on their lot that are potentially interesting, but no other Priuses .. so I'm going to at least have a look around at their inventory.

MacPro 7,1 2019 need to get into Windows Troubleshooting/Safe Mode

Hi there. I run Windows on my Mac pretty much exclusively, and the Windows installation seems to have run into quite a snag, I'm stuck at a spinner trying to login. I can't seem to find any way to get into the standard Troubleshooting menu -- holding shift and hitting restart does not come up with the usual Troubleshooting menu option, it just comes up with "Power Off".

Power cycling three times does not come up to the usual troubleshooting menu, just goes straight to the login screen.

Is there some way, perhaps from MacOS, I can tell it to reboot to Windows in safe mode or troubleshooting mode?

Although honestly at this point it's been so long since Ive booted MacOS, I don't even remember how to do that.. I've got the Mac's keyboard, I seem to remember that being necessary, but the Mac's keyboard isn't lighting up as available until about 2 minutes after the system is completely booted, so I'm not sure that that's going to get me anywhere either.

edit: lol, apparently MacOS can't figure out how to output in any display modes that are acceptable to my UW monitor, so now that I've managed to get it booting back to MacOS, I need to find a monitor that it can actually work with

2010 possible purchase what to look at? 230k mi, 4.2k asking

I've owned an '07 for over a decade now, it's gone to my ex-, and i just saw this at a lot. Not a dealership lot, a random used car lot.

I know head gaskets on these are certainly a look at problem, checked that out, and at least the basic "the oil on the dipstick looks fine" test seems fine. I'm going to go back on Monday with my scanner and Dr Prius and check the battery, I fully expect it to be pretty low health on the battery, probably original.

I started it up and let it run for a little while, it sounded fine, maybe a little exhaust noise, but the engine sounded and felt like it was fine. It was buried behind other cars on their small lot so I didn't get a chance to actually test it, I asked them to clear a path for it for me when I come back.

All the fluid levels looked fine, though I did notice that the inverter coolant level was sitting at the Low level, I looked up online, and apparently it is expected to be at Low when the car has not been driving on inverter power? so i need to check that after I get the opportunity to test drive it. And hopefully I can get one of my two mechanics to squeeze me in for a quick inspection on it to see if there's anything wrong.

I saw no obvious signs of rust anywhere on it other than a tiny amount of surface rust on some scratched area on the rear that'll be super easy to buff out and touch up paint. If I can get a mechanic on it, I'll def get a good look at the underside.

I'm comfortable with a good condition Prius with 230 at this price, and if it's had it's battery changed, then it'd be a steal unless it's got gasket failure or heading for it ... but, what's other's opinion on that price?

Also, does the 2010 have native Bluetooth music support or is it just call support like the 07? If not native, anyone familiar with how involved replacing the head unit with a modern one is? Is it even possible, considering how integrated it is to the main display? (i've never even looked into it on my 07... and now that it's not mine to drive anymore, i won't be.. lol)

Lots of slot machine glare

I'd guess this has been posted before somewhere but it didn't come up in a quick search, so I am excited to have just found it.

It's the only good thing about this place lol

I've been looking at the Idanas high cabinet for a while ... https://www.ikea.com/us/en/p/idanaes-high-cabinet-w-gls-drs-and-1-drawer-dark-brown-stained-80490108/#content .. looks like the dark brown has gone discontinued, though.

Anyone know if there's a replacement that is similar? Or any similar items that are in the catalog somewhere? I've been wanting to get one or two of them for dining room storage, didn't expect they'd just drop off the market like that, though. :(
