Transplant Shock Tips??

I did a MASSSS repotting a week ago and some are just fine but some havw not been doing well..

These are some of the worst cases but THE worst one (Rex begonia) I posted in r/plant clinic and I’ll cross post here too.

It’s a croton, Swiss cheese, money plant, heart philodendron vine, and idk the last one tbh…

All have a custom mix of potting soil+coco coir+perlite. All have clear plastic pots with drainage. Every plant I repotted got sprayed with my home mix of neem, isopropyl, and distilled water before their new soil. The croton, Swiss, and philodendron all went up in pot size bc their roots needed it.

Ive only watered them a week ago just a little bit to settle the new soil. The croton, Swiss, and money plant are still SLIGHTLY damp.

Swiss, money, philodendron, and mystery plant all use grow lights. Croton sits beneath a big shade/sun North window. She was happy (EVEN GOT FOUR NEW LWAVES FROM HER!!!) now they all look so sad and I’m scared…

Rex Begonia Sick

Another victim of my recent repotting escapade a week ago…the most severe victim…

My Rex begonia was nice and bushy and beautiful and literally the NIGHT of repotting she was floppier than a rotten fish!!

Same soil mix ive used before for her: potting+coco+perlite. Plastic pot with drainage. I sprayed all my repotted plants (roots and all) with a mix of neem, isopropyl, and distilled water. Kept her in her usual spot under her grow light.

I did take her out yesterday to see her roots and sprayed her down with fungicide and gave her new soil. I’m so scared for my baby…she was so full and happy before!!!

Jade Succulent Help

I recently did a MASS repotting a week ago and a lot of plants have been going through severe shock. One of my jades is such a victim although I’m beginning to think there might’ve been some underlying stuff too. The one looks okay just a weak root system BUT…

The other one…idk what to do. Am I able to salvage it into two parts? If I snip out the middle mushy part, will either part grow back??

I have it on a grow light stand and the soil is a personal mix of potting+coco coir+perlite. And the pot is a clear plastic with drainage!

I use Planta to schedule watering. It’s been at least a week since I watered him last.

SOS: LS100 Making Scary Noises

Ive used this machine hUNDREDS of times and all of a sudden, when I’m trying to make a small routine plate, it makes sudden LOUD scary grinding motor sounds. I stopped the machine and saw the Z axis plunger was off kilter (shown at the end of the video). Turned it on again to try to adjust the table and the laser head alignment and now I get this FPGA code on the screen and this horrible high pitched noise…

I tried called in Gravograph but they weren’t answering.

PLEEEASE any idea how to fix this?? The guy who usually does our engraving is…not pleasant…so if this stays broken I’m so screwed…

Update Pt. 2: Loose Wall Clamp

I think I got it!! I tightened the bolt at the bottom and made sure the clamp was ALL the way against the back plate while I tightened both bolts just to make sure.

Mat boards still give a little if you push enough, but it clamps down much better for plain old cutting. Thank you everyone!!

Wall Clamp Troubleshooting - UPDATE Video

Im new to reddit so I'm sorry if this is clunky...but here's the video of me using the wall clamp in case this helps diagnose the problem/give a better solution. I had to make it into a gif so I could put everything together so I apologize if it's not the best quality...again I'm very new to all this.

I'm just going to put all the media I have in this post too and link it in the comments on the original. I'll also link the original post in this thread.

Here's the original/updated post:
UPDATE_01:

I have attached more media files (the two bolts I think that are the ones a couple people have mentioned and a video of me using the lever subsequently showing how it works). The media files are attached to the comment by "karl2me".

P.S. I'm very new to reddit and not sure how this all works. If there's a better way for me to do things let me know!

Hi everyone!

I work in a frame shop and we've been having issues with our wall cutter lately...the clamp won't go down far enough to hold anything really. When we cut plexi, it holds okay since the plexi is thicker, but matboard??? Forget it.

Do anyone know how to go about tightening this clamp down more? It's a veryyyy old wall cutter, Fletcher-Terry Model No. F300060B. I would try to contact them for help but they were of zero assistance on another issue we had with this wall cutter a couple months ago. I attached some pictures of the cutter and with the clamp down so you can see how wide the gap is.

Please let me know of any ideas or if you need any more info!
