Wall Clamp Troubleshooting

UPDATE_01:

I have attached more media files (the two bolts I think that are the ones a couple people have mentioned and a video of me using the lever subsequently showing how it works). The media files are attached to the comment by "karl2me".

P.S. I'm very new to reddit and not sure how this all works. If there's a better way for me to do things let me know!

Hi everyone!

I work in a frame shop and we've been having issues with our wall cutter lately...the clamp won't go down far enough to hold anything really. When we cut plexi, it holds okay since the plexi is thicker, but matboard??? Forget it.

Do anyone know how to go about tightening this clamp down more? It's a veryyyy old wall cutter, Fletcher-Terry Model No. F300060B. I would try to contact them for help but they were of zero assistance on another issue we had with this wall cutter a couple months ago. I attached some pictures of the cutter and with the clamp down so you can see how wide the gap is.

Please let me know of any ideas or if you need any more info!

Wall Clamp Troubleshooting - UPDATE Video

Im new to reddit so I'm sorry if this is clunky...but here's the video of me using the wall clamp in case this helps diagnose the problem/give a better solution. I had to make it into a gif so I could put everything together so I apologize if it's not the best quality...again I'm very new to all this.

I'm just going to put all the media I have in this post too and link it in the comments on the original. I'll also link the original post in this thread.

Here's the original/updated post:

Update Pt. 2: Loose Wall Clamp

I think I got it!! I tightened the bolt at the bottom and made sure the clamp was ALL the way against the back plate while I tightened both bolts just to make sure.

Mat boards still give a little if you push enough, but it clamps down much better for plain old cutting. Thank you everyone!!

Framing paper and canvas in same frame

I'm looking to frame a 19"x24" watercolor painting as well as a 24"x30" canvas painting (3/4" depth). I'd like to find a frame in the same natural (maple/beech) finish for both pieces to tie them together in my office. I'm finding lots of online stores that can frame one or the other, but I'm struggling to find somewhere that can frame both. For instance, it looks like Blick has a frame that would work for the canvas here, but they don't have the ability to do custom frame sizes and 19"x24" seems to only be standard for puzzles or posters(?) and will likely require a custom size frame. Ideally, I'd like to be under $200 all in, but I'm not sure if that is doable.

Does anyone have any website recommendations?
Is <$200 reasonable?
My canvas does not have painted sides. Should I avoid the "floater" style frames?
