I got my double helix pierced about four days ago and i feel like its really swollen. It only hurts when i bend down or touch it to clean with saline solution and some q tips. Is this normal? The first picture is currently and the second is right after i got it for reference

I got my double helix about four days ago and its really swollen and red it only hurts when i bend down or when i clean it, should i take it out, get a longer bar or just leave it be? When i got it i asked for a longer bar then they would use already. Ive been cleaning it with saline solution every morning and before bed. I have bumped it a couple times and stuff like that. The jewelry is a straight barbell with the spike on top and externally threaded. The first picture is from currently and the second is when i first got it.
