can i change my helix piercing? i’ve had it since november of 2025 and i’d like to switch the jewelry to gold hoop for an important event. it was pieced with a hoop which i recently discovered was incorrect. however, when i tried to make a complaint, the piercing shop took it down and sent me a threatening email. they claimed there was nothing wrong with it being pierced with a hoop and if it was irritated or had a bump (it was and does) it was my own fault. they also pierced my bellybutton the same day with a hoop, which to no surprise rejected. so 1. can i switch it? and 2. was the piercing done incorrectly? (also my firsts’ earring was ripped from my ear when i was young. that’s why it’s uncentered and stretched)

Hey guys, I was really curious abt what other people think about my healing so far. I had a past one that migrated and now I am super cautious about my new one. It’s almost 7 weeks old, 12mm stainless steel and I am going in a week to downsize it at 10mm titanium. Does it look good? I am confused because either the swelling got down or it is actively migrating. Thanks🙏 in advance!

I’m getting in June another coin slot at the conch area on the ear on the right. Was thinking to get a rook as well on that ear. I will get my seconds/thirds when I get my goal size of 0g. Any other suggestions?

I’ve had this for about 3 weeks almost 4, when I first got I I expected swelling but I didn’t have any. I’ve been avoiding sleeping on my side haven’t touched it except when cleaning it avoid frowning and such but I don’t know I feel like something wrong is going to happen.I want to make this last quite a long time I know I’m gonna have to end up removing it as it’s a surface piercing but I’m just looking for advice to make it last longer.

This is my first piercing and its been 13 days since I had it done. Is it healing well? Sorry for my dry skin the saline water dries the crap out of that side.

I want a couple more to complete my stacks, but I’m not sure where to go from here, would love some suggestions

I’m soon old enough to get cartilage piercings where I live, but I’m unsure what would fit me. I kind of want 2nd and maybe 3rd lobes, but I don’t know if they suit me. Currently I’ve been thinking about a helix piercing to begin with, then conch or tragus.

had her for almost a year now, this bump showed up about a month ago! this picture is a bit dramatic, it is not this red irl 😅 it's not hot or painful or anything, but it does have a constant leakage of the piercing juice that turns into crusties. I am in trade school which means a lot of physical work which could play a part but my guess would be irritation bump!

apologies for the bad photo, also I became oddly self-conscious about my bellybutton while typing this, I wanna clarify that it just looks that that it's not the bumps fault I'm just fat 😭👍
