I've been a 36G for the past 8 years. It's suddenly become wayyy too small in the cup. I'm measuring as a 36I/J now. I have no explanation of why the growth is happening or what's going on. Any ideas?? Help!!

I'm 31 and these are my first 8 cavities. Dentist wants to do pulp caps on 4 of the teeth. She said the decay is pretty deep which I get cause the teeth hurt. But I'm not super clear on what a pulp cap is. Can you explain why my first cavities need this treatment? 2 are in between and 2 are in the biting surfaces if that matters. The cavities are pretty big I guess. I can feel them with my tongue.
