Purse peace achieved 👜✨ LV collection finally feels… complete
I think I’ve officially hit LV purse peace (at least for now 😅).
After a lot of buying, selling, obsessing, comparing, stalking tracking, and convincing myself I “needed” one more piece… my LV collection is at a really happy place.
It’s a mix of new abs vintage. I bought a few retail, most I bought pre-loved, and some are vintage gems I found for a steal. I got a little obsessive and impulsive for a minute but once I started focusing on what actually works for my life, I was able to downsize to a collection that makes sense for me.
What I’m loving…
🌸 I’m not scared to use my bags.
🌸 I rotate everything.
🌸 Each piece fills a specific role (everyday, travel, grab-and-go, dressy).
🌸No impulse purchases lately.
And ok, here is the favorite part- I’ve started collecting pieces from important years in my
life. That customized vintage Speedy 30? It’s from the year I turned 16. The DA Neverfull- my masters graduation gift. The DE Speedy 25… my first daughters birth year 🫶🫶🫶 I have a Toilette 16 pouch on the way from 1983 - you can probably guess what year that it 🫣🫣
For me, purse peace wasn’t about finding and securing the “perfect” bag that actually doesn’t fit my lifestyle (I’m talking to you Blue Nano Diane 🤪🫣). It’s about letting go of the pressure, being honest about what I think is a reasonable budget, and what the things are that I really want to spend/ invest on and why, and finally buying what makes me excited to reach for it.
How did you achieve purse peace? Did you find the prefect bag? Are you downsizing? Trying a new brand?
