Brit pak looking to move abroad

Hi, I’m a first-generation British Pakistani. I’m considering moving to Pakistan in the future after saving up, but I don’t want to live in my family’s village—there’s little to do and no one my age (35, male) to connect with. I have a budget of around £30–50k (approx. 1.8 crore PKR I think??). Would that be enough to buy a small, decent house somewhere suitable? Are there any trusted property websites you’d recommend, and which areas should I look into? Grateful for any advice

Edit: its an eye opener how expensive it is to buy a house in pakistan. How does any young person below 35 years old in pakistan even afford it ?? Im guessing mortgages are not common.

Just thought I would post an achievement. This month i managed to clear all my debts that i accumulated; approx 20k over 3.5 years. I am single 35 live on my own and was frugal for a long while; havent been to spain or Amsterdam in years. I had some major house repairs following purchase of my property, but I finally feel like I can breathe again. All my cc debts and loans are gone and theres no additional payments to pay off for anything should I lose my job tomorrow. I have saved up 10% of my mortgage overpayment for this year and thats tucked away now; not invested it into stocks and shares as I plan to use it in august/september towards a mortgage overpayment. From here on out, it will just be a case of putting a few quid into my s&s isa and taking it from there. I need to remortgage by sept 2027 so will have to see what the interest rates are then when it comes to overpayments etc. for now, i feel a sense of calm and relief that im not running to pay xyz off. Its really worth the feeling and i just wanted to tell everyone that being frugal does pay off when you get to feel as i do today. :) happy to provide helpful tips to anyone.

Hi, im responsible for the fence along the party line in my back garden. Its 3 foot and my neighbours are lovely.. but i want some privacy... and think a 6ft fence would better serve my property. Whats the best way to go about this? Do i just say, hey im changing the fences to 6 foot or do i ask their opinion... etc

It has 3 ft concrete posts, do i need to change them to 6 feet too, or can i just slot in the new fences? The privacy screen i had up earlier this year got blown away lol

Can i just go to a local park and pick up logs and branches that are laying around or is that theft/frowned upon? I wanted to create a log pile for frogs/toads to hide under in the colder months... and no i dont have any logs at home lol
