Night feeds

How long are you guys awake with your baby during night feeds?
My baby boy will go three hours in between wake ups at night but we end up being awake for nearly 2 hours each time.. diaper change either in between sides or before food, maybe some fussing or crying but not always, and lots of just sitting awake even while not actively latched.. then eventually over an hour later he wants a bit more food and then usually passes out after that last bit.
Is this normal or could I be more efficient? He is 17 days so maybe it’s with his age. Just curious of yalls experiences!

TLDR / denied coverage for low hr (bradycardia) bc it was medically unnecessary.

I had a natural birth at a birthing center (out of pocket) and my son needed a transfer to the hospital due to low heart rate… dipping in and out of the 80s.
The doctor’s there kept us for two nights, his hr and oxygen stabilized after just the first day. They just wanted to keep an eye on him.. and on day two saying they also wanted to monitor his latching further. Ultimately decided he’s totally healthy, he just has a low heart rate.

Just got a letter saying the stay won’t be covered because it isn’t medically necessary. Tf??? We were very pressured into staying the extra night I guess it wasn’t forced.. but the transfer wasn’t our choice. And either way we of course had to make sure he was ok and healthy!

I’ll obviously be appealing.. what do I need to know or how can I make sure it gets covered?
Insurance is pretty foreign to me sorry in advance
