I was wondering if anyone has installed one of these or had a similar issue.
I just installed a vevor charge controller, model sbcm-55a.
I have it set to lithium mode, I have a lithium battery. The battery is currently full. But if I use my water pump, the lights will flicker, which isn't unheard of... It's just that when they flicker back on they get brighter as if they are getting to much voltage. Turning off the breaker to the cc stops it.
I've got an email out to customer service but figured I would try here as well
Thanks all
As a General Contractor and finish carpenter I've worked with this stuff quite a bit (despite my general dislike of plastic in carpentry, but I digress), so I have a good idea of its capabilities long term.
So, I'm wondering if anyone else has been thinking of this, or has gone the route of using 4x8 PVC sheets as an alternative method for roof repair?. With a combination of typical trailer sealants, fasteners, guide rails where necessary.
Seems like just having a small overhang would eliminate a huge amount of penetration points (that's what she said) for water.
I'm confident that it would work in a scenario where the camper does not move. And still pretty confident for one that does. And at minimum would still make yearly maintenance easier to keep an eye for leaks.
Small detail to consider though - I am considering most of this based on the trailer that I own which is a sunline Solaris with a curved truss roof that I know is sturdy enough to accept this materia, and it is rather sturdy in general
