New Tool Day. Over the years I’ve been trying to add and upgrade the tools I need or want. I don’t know if I really need this big of a drill but I have wanted an 8AH battery. I’m sure the drill will come in handy too. You can never have too many and best to have one of each type.
I purchased this BOGO for the 785 and 8ah powerpack at 499.99 last night on Lowe’s for pickup and this morning woke up to it being back ordered and out of stock at that store. I contacted customer support to get it switch to a different store for pickup and after some back and forth they ended up having to cancel my original order and creating a new order and price matching the prorated price of the saw for both items.
Cut a few boards today after setting it up and seems great.
Cheapest I’ve seen it . Not something you want to lug around but has all the bells and whistles
I’ve watched many YouTube videos and read many forums. But, I cannot figure out what is causing this on my planner.
Short week, but a couple of decent deals.
Happy weekend y’all!
Just ordered this yesterday. wondering if I got a good deal or not. Unfortunately, after 8/10 years of heavy usage, my DW705 12in single bevel broke, the gaurd went past the stop and got sucked up into the blade. Then, while trying to undo the carnage, the trigger handle snapped off in my hand. This was in the middle of a closet remodel.
So, after searching used saws in my area, everything seemed over priced or ancient. And most of the new saws are way outta my budget, but I felt like this was to good of a deal to pass up. Am I wrong or did I score?
DWS716 dual bevel and DWX723 for $352 with tax and free shipping. Only available online.
For anyone in the market for the 1/2” 20v compact Impact. I got Home Depot to price match this sale.
Just wanted to declare my allegiance for this puzzle piece. Fits my Narrow Crown and Roofing Nailer like a glove. They stack very nicely as well. I love DeWalt but I don't care for the 20 tool bags that came with some of my tools.
i sat on this deal a few days ago missed it... one popped up glad i snatched it

Killer deal on all of these honestly.
Accidentally ordered two DCG413B grinders on Amazon and one was made in China and the other in Mexico. Is there any particular difference between the two? Wondering which to return. The label placement on the packaging is also slightly different. Any thought appreciated
So I’ve been running the XR 5ah batteries on my DCF921 for some time and I’m looking at getting another back up battery when they eventually go on sale.
I’m only a weekend warrior so not in use everyday it’s more about longevity of the battery itself for me.
My question is, is it worth paying the extra and getting the powerstack battery or should I just stick with the XR ones?
If I do go powerstack which one would you suggest that’s in comparison (in terms of power not run time) to the 5ah XR.
I’m not a huge DIY’er. I own a drill, impact driver, hedge trimmer, polesaw, and prob soon a string trimmer and maybe a few more cordless power tools. I currently have a 5ah dcb205 and a dcb2104 battery. Thinking about picking up a 3rd battery as I am building a 14x24 lean too on the back of my shop. What would you recommend as a 3rd battery
Just bought this box cutter today and somehow the paint is already coming off I barely rubbed it with my finger and it peeled right off. I know it’s a tool and will get dinged up anyway, but why is the logo painted so poorly? Feels like they didn’t even try.
The knife itself is solid though, I like it.
