Monitors appearing and disappearing every 2-3 seconds

Hey reddit, first time posting, as you can see by the photos every 2-3 seconds my two monitors that I’ve been using on my ASUS gaming Laptop keep getting noticed and then unnoticed.

This had been working perfectly for 11 months with a brand new laptop and I initially thought that it was the adaptor, but after purchasing a brand new adaptor it is still having the same issue. Have also tried directly connecting monitors and still same issue. I usually duplicate the laptop (which is down below my desk) to one of the screens and extend the display. Drivers are all up to date too. Have factory reset the laptop completely and still the issue persists.

What am I doing wrong / what should I try?
