Dental Geniuses - why is sugar causing gnawing pain above my filling (which sits right next to my wisdom tooth)
Upper right side I have a problematic filling that was done incorrectly 10 years ago. I got it “redone” a year ago and now i am suffering from immense pain ABOVE my tooth somewhere deep in my gums every time I eat any sweets (cake, muffins, ice cream etc).
This filling tooth which has been chiseled down, sits right next to my upper right wisdom tooth which is pretty grown out.
Also the pain travels from my upper right gums behind my eyes/eyebrow and causes a severe headache in one spot right above my right eyebrow.
I am taking Advil every other day at this point and when I last went to the dentist. He did x-rays and said all clear! Clearly something is wrong.
Any advice?
