I'm from Canada and I was charged 1500$ for a night guard I needed for bruxism. I asked about the price and they said they only carry a "high end" model that helps with jaw alignment as well.

I finally received it. It's a bottom hard plastic one. Extremely bulky. Sticks out quite a bit and I am unable to close my lips at night. Needless to say I've had trouble sleeping with it... Went for an adjustment, they trimmed "less than a mm" because they couldn't take off more.

Is this at all normal?!
