Many years ago, when I was in elementary school in northish Canada (a place that would count as Northern Canada to a southerner, and as Southern Canada to most Inuit) a classmate had (or said his family had) a wolfdog. Implied to be a 50/50 oopsy.
He said that when any family member got sick they had to be careful to keep the wolfdog separated, because wolves would kill sick pack members for the good of the pack, so better to just avoid any situation where they might start thinking in that direction.
Is that a real thing, or a disproven myth, or was it just a kid being dramatic because kids are dramatic? Just asking out of curiousity and hoping the folks here know. Thanks!
