So I was watching some essay videos about the franchise and saw someone saying that every movie after the first one is a story being narrated by another character. The second movie is being narrated by that Feral Kid, already in his deathbed; the third is narrated like a fairy tale by Savannah to his people years after they escaped.
Fury Road, from what I heard, is told by Max himself. Not just because of the narration at the beginning, but because the little easter eggs and references from the other movies are actually a representation of his memories getting mixed up because of his insanity. Which also explains why Immortan Joe has the same face as Toecutter. Since he never actually sees what he actually looks like, he imagines him with the face of the man that took everything from him.
Is this a actuall correct, or i just saw a guy saying a lot of bs for 23 minutes?
