This relationship was really strange..
This couple was really weird in every way; they treated each other very strangely, and when they were together they acted oddly too, haha. I don't understand why they got married

Teenagers do not talk like that.
Obviously, everyone knows how natural & casual conversation goes. Nothing about the dialogue in s5 sounded natural
The military felt like a real threat in season 4, with task of finding El and eliminating her. They literally start a shooting at Joyce's house in California just because they found out that El was living there. They feel competent here, whereas in season 5 they were mostly useless and just a nuisance to the rest of the characters.
Sullivan was a great antagonist until they reduced him to whatever that was in season 5.
"Let's try this again, shall we? Where's the girl?"
Every scene with him in season 4 was intimidating. Props to the actor Sherman Augustus.
Also, we see Dr. Sam Owens for the last time in this clip. I guess we'll only find out what happened to him in a future spin-off considering he didn't even show up for the final season.
I love stranger things. I love participating in the fandom. I draw fanart all the time. But it’s crazy to me that because of how poorly received the last season was, the show fell out of the cultural zeitgeist. I see almost zero hype about the spinoff show. I see nothing but negativity now in the fandom.
It makes me sad :(
There are a lot more examples showing that some people are intentionally review bombing just because they are mad about season 5, or byler, or whatever and haven’t even seen tales.
If you watched the first 2 episodes, consider going to IMDb to give tales from 85 an honest rating. If you didn’t, watch it Thursday and then go do it. I personally liked it. If you truly didn’t like it, then rate it how you feel.
Like yeah, you might not like how she was handled in season 5, but this post is just blatantly disregarding every single aspect of her character for what, just another excuse to hate on the show? Like holy shit we can’t actually be at this point where we’re this desperate to shit on the show, can we?
What is up with those dead soldiers in that melted corridor in the finale? And why do they look like they came from WW2?
I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately and it’s honestly kind of bittersweet.
Do you guys think we could ever get something like a Mike and Eleven reunion spin-off, or maybe even a continuation that still includes Mileven somehow? Or is something like a surprise Episode 9 more realistic—especially with people talking about dates like July 15, 2026 for the 10th anniversary, or even sometime in 2027?
At the same time, there’s this other possibility that I don’t even like thinking about… what if this really was the end of everything? Like, no more content at all from this universe ever again.
That’s the part that actually makes me a bit sad. Following Mileven for so long and then just… nothing more. No future glimpse, no continuation, nothing.
I’m trying to be realistic though. The show is massive, so it’s hard to imagine it just disappearing forever. But even if the universe continues, would they actually bring back Mike and Eleven? Or would they move on completely to new characters and stories?
The whole “Episode 9” idea sounds amazing, but it also feels a bit too perfect, like something fans really want rather than something that’s actually planned. A spin-off feels slightly more possible, but then again, the creators did say this was the end of their story, so bringing them back might undo that.
I don’t know, I feel kind of stuck between hoping for more and trying to accept that this might really be it.
What do you guys think is most likely? And more importantly, are you okay with it ending here, or do you still want more—especially when it comes to Mileven?
guys i think this might be another sign that el is alive ! what was that distant exhale just after the upside down disappeared ? i think that was el in the tunnels after using her powers to mike !!!
Dustin and Steve is my most favourite friendship in every season of stranger things. Actually it is the main reason stranger things was enjoyable to me personally. But in season 5 , they felt so forced. I mean, the interactions between them felt really lacking of emotions. Just like those scenes were included just to fill a checklist . For example, lets make dustin and steve fight, so we can later add a moment where they share an emotional moment. The duo we know would never have fought like that. Steve definetely would have understood why dustin feel so sad and would have waited for dustin to recover rather than badmouthing his friend who died. To my sadness ,I didn't feel any emotion when steve was going to fall off the tower because at that point , i knew that no one is going to die because of how thick the plot armour was. Didn't feel any emotion when dustin said , if you die , i die too. Because every dialogue in season 5 felt so dry and artificial. Not the actor's fault. The fault is of the dialogues.
Am i the only one who felt nothing about this amazing duo in the last season even though they were my most favourite thing in previous seasons ? Or am i not alone.
All comments are welcome , even though you loved the dynamics. This is a safe space to discuss any view. Thanks.
Did they get together off-screen between s4 and s5? i can't remember and i'm writing something
