I’m looking for a video editor for long-form Minecraft challenge content.

Type of videos:

• Hardcore challenges
• Survival challenges
• Experimental challenge concepts
• Potentially modded/civilization style content later

Final videos will usually be:

• 30 minutes to 1 hour long
• Around 4 hours of raw footage on average

Budget:

• Roughly $60–$200 per video depending on quality, workload, pacing, experience, and how much editing is needed.

What I’m looking for:

• Strong understanding of viewer retention and pacing
• Ability to cut boring downtime while keeping the story understandable
• Good sense of tension, payoff, and progression
• Experience with long-form YouTube content
• Minecraft editing experience preferred
• Comfortable using music, subtitles, zooms, and sound effects in a way that improves the video instead of making it feel overedited
• Ability to structure footage into an engaging story, not just cut clips together

Editing style I’m aiming for:
Think creators like Dream, SB737, Forge Labs, etc. depending on the video type. I want videos that feel engaging throughout, not just heavily memed.

Every time I got a new job offer or raise I had no idea what I'd actually bring home after taxes. Found myself either overestimating and overspending or underestimating and being overly restrictive.

Built Take Home Pay Calculator to fix that for myself. Plug in your salary, it estimates federal/state taxes and shows your real paycheck. Free, no signup, no ads.

Also has a compound interest calculator if you want to see what consistent saving actually looks like over time — that one was the most motivating thing I built honestly.

Didn't plan it. Didn't architect it. Just kept prompting with Claude until Clear Calculate existed.

TDEE, body fat, mortgage, salary after taxes, GPA — it's all there. It was a completely free build besides the obvious domain purchase.

Honestly I have no idea how some of it works. The vibes carried. If you have any advice I would really apricate it, I'll comment the link bellow if anyone wants to check it out.
