I won 6k on a slot machine and I had to fill out a W2G. I know I could write off losses but then I can't take the standard deduction? Does anyone have advice so I do not have to pay around 2k in taxes next year. I already maxed out my Roth Ira so I cant lower it in a traditional. Any advice?

I'm 37M and am losing my essential plan in July this year. What are people like me who are 1099 workers doing with the new Ny State market place. I make around 40k a year what am I looking at for premiums. Just nervous.
I am 37 and have about 170k in my roth Ira, this is after years of maxing it out and it is tough. I am just curious of what other people have saved because if you ask any source they are claiming most Americans my age have A LOT more saved. I think its not true.
I absolutely love the Soviet National anthem. Not the lyrics but the music and melody. I know it’s basically the same as the Russian anthem but somehow the words sound better in the Soviet version. Hate to say it but it sounds way more powerful than the United States.
