Please help me with welding aluminum 😭

I know it looks horrible but it’s so confusing and different compared to normal tig on mild steel

I am researching the different types of AK’s, and I am seeing a lot of controversy, and lots of people saying that this sub hates on different AK’s at different times, so finding the right AK for me has been difficult.

here are the AK’s I have been considering, please correct any misconceptions I have:

ZPAP m70

pros I have read about:

very durable, chrome lined barrel, reliable and accurate, less chance of canted sights, very good for price point and good customer service.

cons I have read about:

the bolt carrier group (I think that’s what is the problem but it might be another part I’m not sure) is supposedly very susceptible to rust and corrosion, it is overall a heavier weapon (not a big problem, and less aftermarket availability due to it being a yugo pattern (but it is a weapon popular enough it should not be a problem is what I have heard)

questions I have: I have heard very good things about this one, I am just worried about the lack of coating in certain parts. How susceptible is this to corrosion?

WASR 10:

Pros I have read about:

AKM pattern so will be easy to find furniture for, chrome lined, and very reliable.

Cons I have read about: I heard someone else say that they are unreliable, and that conflicts with other things I have heard, but I want to include it nonetheless. I have also heard they tend to have canted sights, and used to be a lower price rifle and you get what you pay for.

WBP Jack:

pros I have read about: very reliable, smooth shooting, and good price for good quality.

Cons I have read about: Overgassed (isn’t this a good thing though? Because more gas makes it more reliable?), nitride instead of chrome lined barrel, and apparently inaccurate (heard someone else say it’s good for an ak though)

SAM7:

pros I have read about:

Very reliable, milled receiver.

cons I have read about:

heavy (don’t care about this), expensive.

KR103:

pros I have read about:

if you get a good gun, you get a very good gun that is the closest we have to the 100 series over here in America, it is light, and can use akm pattern furniture with a little work.

cons I have read about:

you might not get a good gun because qc is hit or miss, zero customer support, and the company is bankrupt.

what I am looking for in an AK:

I don’t care if it’s heavy, I don’t care if it’s a weird pattern that’s hard to get furniture for, I don’t care if it’s overgassed and I don’t care if people think I have a weird gun. Really the only restriction is the price, but I don’t have a price range because this is something I have to save up for anyways, it’s just that I’m not spending 5k+ on a weapon. I’m looking for something that is chrome lined and not susceptible to rust or corrosion anywhere (I don’t plan to shoot corrosive ammo but I want to be able to), I plan to put in a FRS at some point, and I want to be able to shoot a stupid amount of rounds through it before I have to replace the barrel. I want it to be as durable as possible, and if for whatever reason there is a problem with it that is not a part breaking or the gun suffering a catastrophic failure I want to be able to fix it by violently racking, mortaring, or stepping on the charging Handle if the bcg is locked forward and the round is spent, and I want to be able to do this without harming the gun. I don’t care about accuracy unless it’s something egregious. The most important thing for me is that the gun has a long life with basic care.

If you read this far, thank you for humoring me, and I hope this wasn’t too annoying, and any information helps me make my decision.
