I finally figured out the solution to restless rifle syndrome is, in fact, to just buy more rifles so you don't keep messing with your dialed setup on one!

Have a krebs safety I need to drop into the ZPAP, otherwise happy with these setups. Might get a KNS for the ZPAP and some ALG triggers (never tried a non-stock trigger)

Thinking about chopping my barrel down to 12.5" or 13". Any reason I shouldn't? I'll never get rid of it, so I'm not too concerned about any potential value lost. It's a bit too front heavy for my liking with a can on.

Also, does anyone know if halcyon defense is still doing work? He did the og mag conversion for me several years ago, but I thought I heard he stopped taking work for a while.

NHM91 turned into a pseudo-Tabuk rifle.

Got an M90, it’s good and rad but Im still working on finding some mags. The Bulgarian pictured does not fit great as is, I’ll work on it with a dremel though. The poly mag it came with seems to feed very well, but I’m only 200 rounds in so I can’t say if it’s reliable. I hear the psa smooth side mags are ok but I’m not super confident in that.

Anyone have a lead on some steel mags that fit and feed ok?

Doc says I could end up with other side effects like M72, 77, and 85.

I took my M70 shooting yesterday and shot few rounds threw it. I open it up and noticed these knicks on the operating rod. I’m hoping it’s okay and nothing major. I’m new to AKs though so I don’t know if this is common or preventable.

Changing out furniture as pieces come in. Wasr 10/63.

Also, are there any publicly available images of the AK-203 configured with a drum magazine.. yet?
