Hi! I’m curious if anyone else is experiencing this in Illustrator 2026.

Since updating, I’ve noticed that saving files can take over 5 minutes, even with relatively simple documents (few artboards and elements). It’s consistent enough that it’s starting to affect my workflow quite a bit.

For context, I’m working on a MacBook Pro (M1 Max, 64GB RAM), so I wouldn’t expect performance to be an issue.

I’ve temporarily gone back to Illustrator 2025 to keep working faster, but that version has been unstable for me and crashes randomly, so it’s not really a solution.

Not looking for official support—just trying to understand if this is something others are seeing too, or if it might be related to a specific setting, file type, or recent update.

Has anyone else run into this?

Hola! Desde que se me actualizó la app de Illustrator 2026 y guardo el archivo, tarda más de 5 minutos en guardar por más que el documento tenga pocas mesas de trabajo o elementos.

Debido a esto tengo que frenar todo mi trabajo del día esperando a que termine de guardar y reduce mi productividad laboral.

Trabajo desde una Macbook Pro con chip M1 Max y ram de 64gb

Como solución rápida lo que hago es abrir illustrator 2025 para seguir trabajando y no perder más tiempo, pero el problema que tiene esa app es que se cierra inesperadamente en cualquier instancia.

Cabe aclarar que pago por mi paquete de Adobe mensualmente y no he podido conseguir comunicarme con una persona de soporte técnico.

¿A alguien más le sucede este problema al guardar un archivo Illustrator 2026?
