Chef Bombay Beef Vindaloo

Chef Bombay beef vindaloo, $3.96 at Walmart (Central NC).

Like other meals from Chef Bombay, this was very good. Surprisingly spicy, but not overwhelmingly so, and the beef was quite tender. First time I’ve tried this one, will definitely buy again.

Bellatoria Ultra Thin Crust Garlic Chicken Alfredo Frozen Pizza ($5.87 at Walmart, Central NC)

This was good. If I had to choose, I prefer the sausage version (reviewed earlier here). Oddly, my partner preferred this one and they don’t normally care for “Alfredo style” pizza. 🤷‍♀️

Bellatoria Ultra Thin Crust Sausage Italia Frozen Pizza ($5.87 at Walmart, Central NC).

Really good. Tad overcooked, but it was still tasty. Lots of sausage and good cheese flavor. Fed two adults comfortably. I’ll be adding this to our frozen pizza rotation.

Butter Chickpeas & Veggies ($3.38) with Basmati Rice ($2.98) from Tasty Bite brand, purchased at Walmart. Microwave cooking in package: 1 minute for the chickpeas and 90 sec for the rice. Not spicy, but well seasoned and vegetarian.

This is a fantastic low-spoon meal for 2, literally rip/cut a 2” vent, nuke, then pour onto plate. (Both can also be cooked on stove plus just be eaten as is.)

We have purchased additional bags as emergency food for disasters since one could just eat as is or dump on a pot on a grill to warm up.
