I need to reregister my 4th edition Kindle and I can't get the OTP to work with out without amending it to the end of my password. Is there some other way to get it registered?

I can't get past the Web Browser it keeps saying it can't make a secured connection. IS there something with my router I need to change or is there something else? Edit: I'm trying to jailbreak a 4th Edition Kindle No Touch
