Today marks the 18th day since we last saw each other, and I miss her more than I’ve ever missed anyone or anything. It’s a feeling I’ll never forget. I’m writing this with a mix of sadness and beautiful joyful memories of the time we spent together, from the moment our eyes first met through the glass windows of the airport when I first saw her in the baggage area.

We were so happy to spend our first anniversary on Valentine’s Day together. I’ve always dreamed of finding a sweet, affectionate, passionate, kind, and loving partner like her, and now that we’ve finally met in person, it was the best 63 days of my life.

After meeting her, I started believing in soulmate and twin flame theories, and I’ve found mine. Of course, we had a few small “fights” but that only strengthened our bond and connection. We had deep conversations that I’ve never had with anyone before, and silly conversations that I’ve never had with anyone else. She’s my dream come true.

We got to spend an extra 10 more days together than we expected because of the war with her return flights getting repeatedly canceled. I’ve never been happier about cancelled flights.

I miss her every moment of my life. The first few days were so hard to believe that she wasn’t here with me. She was always in my thoughts, like when I woke up from sleeping and thought she was next to me. When I went to bed, I would wait for her to come and cuddle. It’s so difficult to make my mind accept that she’s 9,413 miles away.

Now, we’re back to our online relationship, back to our 24/7 WhatsApp video calls, talking about every sweet moment we’ve shared in person. Now she knows everything around my place, and when I show her the places I’m driving, she recognizes the places we’ve traveled together. She’s so cute remembering all those little things. And now she knows the people in my life. My family and my friends.

I’m living with all these beautiful memories and moments we’ve spent together, waiting for our next meet-up and looking forward to when we can finally close the gap between us forever.
