Hi! I’m designing a game for our wedding welcome party with 80-something people.

The goal: break the ice & form new relationship. Many folks will know each other, but with the joining of 2 families, there will be many new faces for all.

My goal is to for players to have fun, friendly, memorable conversations with at least a few new people. So I’m looking for a variation of “People Bingo.” We’ll create a list with 50 or so questions, like: “Which of [groom’s] family member’s shares his birthday?” “Which attendee was [bride’s] camp counselor?” And whoever finds the most answers, wins.

What I want to avoid is: our really competitive friends running around, asking questions, and once they figure out that the person they’re talking to does not help them in their quest, sort of abruptly ending the convo and running away.

How can we make it meaningful, but fun — competitive but not shallow? What limitations or rules might help? Thanks in advance!

Hi! I’ve had dry but mostly unproblematic skin my whole life. This past year, at 33, I had my first bout of cystic acne. I saw a derm, who I didn’t love, so I didn’t return— but started on Differin, 3x a week. The acne has really calmed down, but I’d love it to smooth out more for my wedding next month. Any tips would be much appreciated!
