Is there any hope for change? Or is this as good as it gets?

Hi, 30F here and I’m trying all of your recommendations and listening to advice. Im so frustrated with my wavy hair since frizz always comes through and somehow ruins the waves midday every time. If I shower in the morning, all the product ends up with frizz, and the best luck I have with taming the waves is sleeping while its damp but I know that’s a huge no no, but it’s the only thing that works sometimes to combat frizz. These pics are from this past week, 2nd day hair, re-wet and styled midday and it’s pretty accurate to freshly washed hair.

My routine:
Living proof detox shampoo once a week, other one time a week is living proof full shampoo
Eva-nye therapy session mask as conditioner
JVN leave in applied when wet
DAE styling cream applied when wet
*plop and squeeze gently*
Ouidad advance climate control gel
*plop method upside down and lightly scrunch*
Air dry
Olaplex oil to scrunch out crunch

I don’t style my hair with heat ever, the only pieces I regularly style when dry are my two baby front framing pieces with a curling iron to barely match the rest of the hair (bad habit I know, but they’re always wonky).

I end up doing a slick back bun almost every day (in different places, with different products and tension placements and with anti breakage hairties

I feel like this is the best it’s ever looked but still not good enough for me. I really need some advice of what’s looking good and what’s not.

I don’t use a bonnet or satin/silk pillow cases, and quite frankly I’m a bit lazy with my bedtime routine. Just a loose pony with a soft scrunchy and side sleep.

Hi everyone, I’m sorry for asking this question. I am 29(F) and not very financially savvy in terms of loans and payment plans. I am the first of my family to go beyond high school and I am very blessed to have a doctorate.

I was in deferment until 2025 and I qualify for PSLF. My first year of payments has been $95 which I was so sure was wrong (married since 2023 and filed together since then). I graduated officially in 2024. Here are my details:

Total loan principal: 104k
Outstanding interest: 13k
EdFinancial, mostly unsubsidized but no private loans.
2024 income: 36k with partner in school
2025 income: 85k with partner in school, not really working but part time job
Current income: 110k
PSLF: so far so good, mainly things from 2025 have qualified which is good but I’m worried about missing a payment when nothing is “due” (especially for May)

just a month ago, I submitted a new IBR application and I haven’t received any written correspondence about what my new amount will be. On 4/15 I got a “change in repayment terms” letter that said my payment will stay the same for June, but for July it will go up to 1200. I called immediately and they told me it was wrong and will stay the same. I asked for confirmation in writing and they didn’t send anything.

I called this last Tuesday (because for whatever reason I didn’t have a balance due for May, why??) and the lady told me it would be $500-600 (I don’t remember the exact payment amount). I asked for written confirmation and she said I would get one soon. Today, I’m pretty nervous about it so I chatted with a live agent and it spit out a $443 payment beginning in June, but no written correspondence yet.

I’m so frustrated because I can’t figure out what to ask or how to nail down a consistent number. I just want to make sure I make a payment this month and qualify for PSLF. I feel stupid, and all my colleagues and friends have different loans and servicers and quite frankly, no one is as worried about this as me and I don’t know who to talk to.

TTC here after a MMC two months ago, first pregnancy 💔💐

I started on Nature Made because it checked off all the boxes and later switched to ritual. I used NM pretty much for all of one week and couldn’t handle it so I used Ritual for all of my 11 week pregnancy. When it ended, I saw all the hot discourse on folic acid vs methylfolate, I couldn’t help but think I should’ve prioritized folic acid, which probably wouldn’t have changed the outcome but I’ll never know for sure. ❤️‍🩹

I have already decided to prioritize folic acid in my prenatal for at least TTC and into the first trimester when I get pregnant again, hoping for that to be soon (and btw, no shame in choosing methylfolate!)

Then I remembered, holy shit (literally), Nature Made HURTS my stomach like no joke. Ritual was much softer on my stomach and I miss it. I’m only 2-3 days in and I need to switch to something else.

Love a good bang for my buck option, but going back to ritual is tempting me. What would you do? Are the nature made gummies any different or better? Any luck freezing prenatals (MIL gave me this advice lol) or taking with meals? I already take at night and not helping.

I bought a side sleeper pillow from the nontoxic brand Avocado and I am beyond disappointed. The fluff which is latex and other natural fibers consistently compounds (from the weight of my head) into a hard immovable pillow and my neck is suffering from it because it just won’t hold its shape. They give you extra fluff to adjust/personalize and it seems like more fluff just makes it harder— literally harder against my neck and face. Every night I fluff before going to bed and I end up waking in the middle of night feeling my neck and head sinking instead of feeling supported. I just switched back to my 3 year old Casper pillow and it’s a worlds difference.

I’m super frustrated because I’m outside the warranty and most likely can’t return. I must have purchased in February and I tried making the switch to a nontoxic pillow for pregnancy (not pregnant anymore).

Does anyone have this brand’s pillows? How are you able to make it work for you?
