Hey everyone! FYI I’m 23 year old women. so about 2 weeks ago I had unprotected sex with my bf and a couple days later I started burning when I peed. I just knew something wasn’t right. A gut feeling I suppose. I went got tested yesterday and when looked she seen that it was raw and irritated her exact words. I also want to include that I am a virgin never had vaginal sex before him. I got results and it showed ureaplasma urealyticum, ureaplasma parvum, and fannyhessa atopobium My doctor said that it’s 2 strains of BV and isn’t considered a STI and that it’s conditions with bacterial vaginosis. Is this true? Or did he give it to me? Could I already have had that bacteria in my system and not know it? I am prone to BV I used to get it every now and then when I wasn’t sexually active. I don’t know whether to tell him bc it’s a possibility I could’ve had it naturally or he gave it to me. Thank you everyone for the help!
