I (26F) met this guy (29M) online and we've had 4 dates so far. He's initiated all of them and was very proactive. We didn't have a lot of time to talk on our previous date since we met up a bit late but we kissed. He texted afterwards saying he had a great time and he got home safely.
We continued texting for a few days afterwards but he hasn't initiated meeting up and his replies are taking longer time too (before we texted several times a day, but this time he took 22 hours to respond), saying he's been very busy at work. I asked if he's free this weekend to which he said yes, but I'm not feeling any sort enthusiasm from his end. I've always been the one to choose the location and time and want him to do it this time, and I've given him a nudge in our last date, but there hasn't been any talk of what we should do this weekend.
My gut tells me he's not interested as before or he's not sure about me. Should I just protect my energy and cancel our date by tonight if he's continuing to respond very late and not bringing up plans?
