LG 4k HD Dual Controller setup

I have My powermac hooked up to input 1, and I have work PC to input 2. I can use the joystick at the bottom of my monitor to switch. I found the dual controller installed it, but I'm not sure how to set it up properly?

It appears you Select a mode for the Computer you want as the main (assume its using the inputs 1 as main and input 2 as sub). I have my powerbook as main. I only want to control the inputs from the main. so do I need to install it onto the work PC? Hopefully I won't need to as I don't have access to install, the connection guide sounds like the (easy) way. If you could install on both.

Will the connect option get around this issue, by using/adding the IP of the work computer in this window allow ne to connect and then switch back and forth. *the work computer is on a guest network, the main is on the main/secure network. can I still connect them?

Hopefully this makes seance.

I'd like set a reminder to repeat every hour, with an alert sound on the hour it triggers, until it is completed. I have one set for every hour, but I cant get an alert out of it every time the alert is triggered. Can you do that with reminders, or do I need a different app to do that. This perticular reminder is for a prescription, would the health app do the sound alerts every hour until completed?

I was looking to power a tv, cable box, and router, for seasonal power outages. I have no idea how to judge the power I will need to run these devices for a couple of hours.
I’m not able to go full tilt and get a generator outside. I was hoping for a battery pack I could put in the tv cabinet/or bedside it, to power theses devices for a couple of hours.
What should I be looking at power wise? If this sub allows prod suggestions that would help.
