I’m currently in the process of moving in with my boyfriend but after a trail period we figured out that he’s too allergic to live with cats full time while going through chemo. How do I find the best possible home for them and what kind of deal should I make to be able to get updates on them and see them at least once a year? I know the won’t be my cats anymore but I want to be able to make sure that the are being properly cared for and for them to be able to know that I didn’t just forget them. Thank you in advance!

I’m doing this for the wondering of everyone involved so if you can help please reach out.

I’m moving in with my boyfriend right now and after a trial month we figured out that he’s too allergic to live with my cats while going through chemo and probably even after. I can just relegate them to one room because they’ve never not been able to access every room wherever I’m staying and I can’t continue to have them knowing that if they live separately from me they would only get seen at my ability to visit when I don’t even have a car right now. If anyone is willing to take two black cats that are approximately 7 years younger old I’d be so grateful. I’m in the central Missouri area but we’re willing to drive to a good home. They have some issues with consistently using the litter box but as long as it’s clean and they aren’t mad at you they will use it. I have things that I’m hoping to be able to pass on there new home of them- 2 blankets, food and water bowls, toys, the treats I have left and anything else of theirs. I also have two cat trees if you want them as well. I just wish for updates on them and maybe the ability to see them for once or twice a year.
