It's been a few years since I've been to Central Market and I'm trying to remember this stand. I had empanadas (and maybe a beef patty?) which were great, but the little plastic cup of hot sauce that came with it is the BEST hot sauce I've ever had and I want to see if I can order some.

The stand was along the wall and Mean Cup was right across the aisle. On the website it seems like there are a couple of places that sell empanadas and I can't distinguish them. PLEASE tell me this place still exists!

I've lived in town for almost a year and really love it. Since the conversation about the dams was posted yesterday I want to share my one big gripe. The closest public park to me in Grandview Park on 79 next to the church. It's not huge, but the playground is perfect for the ages of my kids and it's got a great loop for walking.

Since 79 is not safe for walking I have to drive to the park with my kids. But anytime the weather is warm the small parking lot is full of cars, even though there is nobody at the park. People leave their cars there to walk down to the dam. Even the adjacent lot is full (and I assume that lot belongs to the church. Is it even ok to park there?)

This little park was one of the biggest upsides for my family living in this particular neighborhood and it's just a bit frustrating that it's so hard to access because of people who are there for different reasons. Sorry if this is curmudgeonly, I just needed to vent because I haven't found anyone around that resonates with this issue.
