I bought a SATA to USB to use this drive externally. However it doesn’t work, I assume it needs more power. What can I use to give it more power? I’m not sure what the connection is on the far left.
I would just get a Blu Ray external drive but they’re really expensive and hard to find it seems. So I just dug out this old drive I had and I’m trying to get it to work. Can I route cables directly out of the internals of my PC to get it to work? Don’t really wanna do that though. Want to get it to work via USB since that works apparently.
Or do I just give up trying to get this to work and buy like a Verbatim external drive for $300?
