Return to sender

Return to sender

It’s been a fiasco.

I sold an item on April 9 and shortly after, the buyer messaged me saying she accidentally put her old address and no longer lives there. She asked if I could change it. I told her I couldn’t change the address on my end and that she would need to cancel and repurchase with the correct address, then I’d ship it out again.

She said it was fine and maybe UPS could just hold the package and they’ve done it before. At that point I probably should’ve just canceled it myself if I realized it was gonna be this much of a hassle. Lesson learned. She also probably should’ve listened to my advice too but oh well.

So the package was already in transit. On delivery day, surprise surprise, tracking says they were unable to deliver it (most likely because she doesn’t live there anymore) and that it’s being returned to sender.

Now the tracking hasn’t updated in five days.

Should I call UPS or just wait it out? Would love advice from anyone who’s dealt with this before because I feel like this could’ve been avoided 🙃

Is this allowed? Seller changing the item after I purchased

This is my first time buying on Poshmark and I'm dissapointed. I bought a bag on Poshmark and already paid. After the purchase, the seller messaged saying they “mixed up” two similar bags and offered to send it but for 3x the amount.

I’m not really buying that explanation because this is a very specific style, and the listing had detailed photos and a description clearly based on it. I also only offered a few dollars under asking, and it’s been sitting since November. I'm not quite understanding the logic here.

Can a seller do this? Should I just ask them to cancel?
