Hi everyone,
My husband and I got married in the UK on a fiancée visa, and we’re now looking to switch to a spouse visa. Our situation is a bit complex: he’s British and lives/works in the UK, while I’m French and currently living and working in Paris.
My fiancée visa expires in June, and I travel quite frequently between Paris and the UK for work. I’m wondering if I can apply from within the UK, as long as I’m physically present there before applying and for the biometrics appointment.
Would the amount of time I spend in Paris be an issue if I apply from inside the UK? Could it create any risks for my application?
Alternatively, would it be safer to apply from outside the UK, even though my current visa is still valid and allows me to apply from within the UK?
Thanks a lot for any advice or experiences you can share!
