Hey everyone, I’m currently doing my BTech in CSE and I’ve been trying to figure out how people actually land internships in India because the whole process feels pretty confusing from the outside. I haven’t really started applying on LinkedIn yet and most of what I’ve tried so far has been through other platforms, but I’m not sure what actually works. I also haven’t started DSA seriously yet, so I sometimes feel underprepared compared to others online. Right now I’m mainly focusing on projects, improving my resume, and keeping my GitHub active. I just wanted some honest advice from people who’ve already gone through this, where did you apply, what helped you get shortlisted, and what should someone in my position focus on first? Also, is cold emailing startups or applying directly on company websites actually worth it? Would genuinely appreciate any practical advice or things you wish you knew earlier.
