First I want to say thank you to anyone who posted or messaged me quizlets and advice, you guys rock! I’m gonna give a little breakdown about the test to help anyone else who might need it. I studied for about 3 weeks for the test. I also want to preface that when it comes to these test there is a pool of questions and on your test a random number from that pool is selected so no two test are the same so be carful just looking at quizlet answers. But here is the breakdown in order of how I took it:

Math-92%

Lots of conversions (gallons, pints,oz etc) lots of proportion questions. I didn’t get a single Roman numeral question and only one military time. I was provided a small on screen calculator. Some choices are fill in the blank

Vocabulary-96%

I used the hesi study book from Amazon for this section. Process of elimination is your bestfriend on this part. When I was taking this section I thought I was doing poorly bc I would get it down to two choices. Trust your gut.

Grammar-90%

Lots of “is this sentence correct” or “what’s wrong with this sentence”. Know the difference between lie and lay, who and whom, further and farther. As well as when to use an apostrophe. I used the same hesi study book from amazon for this and it was such a big help for this section. Read the sentences slowly. There would also be options for the same word but spelt differently.

Anatomy and Physiology-100%

The quizlet going around is pretty much every question I got besides one or two. I’ve taken 3 a&p classes before so I didn’t really study too much for this section.

Biology-92%

Meiosis vs Mitosis, Cell organelles, hierarchy. I used the same hesi book to study for this section. There is a quizlet going around for this section but I didn’t use it.

Reading and Comprehension-94%

Wouldn’t suggest keeping this section last if you think this section is going to be difficult because at this point my eyes were burning from staring at the computer screen. Gives you small passages and asks questions like “whats the reason this is written” or “what does ___ mean in the passage”. I did not study for this section at all. I saw lots of quizlets for this section. I wouldn’t recommend them just to look at answers but as a study tool.

I was allowed 6.5 hours and I finished in about 3.5.

Hello ! I take my hesi hp test for a rad tech program next week. I see lots of quizlets going around but I’m slightly confused if they will be much use to me since I’m not taking the nursing one? Does anyone have any idea if they are similar or anyone who took the hp one and thinks these are good study tools ?

Also any last minute tips or advice would be great !

Hello ! I’m taking my hesi hp for the first time in a couple days. I’ve gone through alot of the post on here and looked at resources to study but I was wondering if anyone had any tips, hints, or info about that test that maybe you wish you had the first time around. Any information would help tremendously!
