ADISURC Scholarship Eligibility for Students Already Holding a Foreign Master’s Degree?

Hi everyone,

I’m an international student from Algeria and I applied for a Master’s degree in Transportation Engineering and Mobility in Naples/Campania.

I already have a Master’s degree from Algeria in Automation and Industrial Computing, which is a completely different field.

I was reading the ADISURC/DSU scholarship call and saw the rule saying students who already hold a qualification of the same level obtained abroad may be excluded from the scholarship.

Has anyone been in a similar situation?
Did ADISURC consider your previous foreign Master’s as a reason for exclusion even if the new degree was in a different specialization?

I’d really appreciate hearing real experiences from international students, especially in Campania/Naples.

Thank you!

Hey everyone,

I could really use some honest advice, especially from international students who’ve been in a similar situation.

I’ve been admitted to three different master’s programs in Italy, and I’m struggling to decide which one is the best choice for my situation:

•	University of Naples Federico II – Transportation and Mobility Engineering (TEAM)

•	University of Palermo – Automation Engineering

•	University of Tuscia – AI and archival science

A bit about me:

•	I already have a Master’s degree in Automation and Industrial Computing

•	I’m from Algeria

•	Budget is limited (around €3000 max per year)

•	My main goal is to **build a career in Europe after graduation**, realistically as a non-EU student

•	I’m also looking for the best balance between **cost of living, job opportunities, and chances of getting a scholarship**

My concerns:

•	Which city is more affordable long-term?

•	Where are the best job opportunities (even part-time in English)?

•	Which degree would actually give me the best chance of staying and working in Italy (or EU) after graduation?

•	How hard is it to get scholarships in each of these universities?

If you were in my position, what would you choose and why?

Thanks a lot 🙏
