We’ve been having ongoing sleep issues with our kid and nothing seems to be working. Our pediatrician didn’t find anything concerning health wise but since we weren’t seeing improvement, melatonin was suggested. I just don’t feel comfortable going that route, especially long term. Recently I’ve been seeing Hiya bedtime essentials mentioned a lot, even here on Reddit and it got me curious. Has anyone actually tried them? Since they’re non melatonin chewables, I’m not totally sure how they’re supposed to work. Do they genuinely help kids fall asleep or is it more of a mild calming effect before bed? Would really appreciate any honest experiences.
