Did we mess up?

Siigghhh. Started doing reno on a flat from late 60s early 70s (SE england), we were asked to prep the floor so contractor could lay new flooring. Started ripping it all up, layer of carpet, layer of underlay, then under that some sort of burlap material on top of a yellow foam. Foam was disintegrating so we pulled it up/scraped it to get to the concrete subfloor. Not sure when (if ever) the floor had been last done. The carpet on top looked somewhat new but obviously the layer underneath was crumbling to pieces.

I became a bit worried about the glue having asbestos in about halfway through, for the first room there didn't seem to be any sign of black mastic or anything, but by the time we got into the hall there were dark grey swirled patches.

We were wearing masks and goggles and the asbestos survey for our building didn't mention the floors having asbestos in, although it did say it was in the artex ceiling, areas in the laundry and around some heating pipes in the basement and roof (now realising this might have just been communal areas tested and the floors weren't the same as the one in our flat)...

Just so upset. About 6 months ago I had a similar thing happen in the exact same spot on my lip as in the photo, I had never had a cold sore before (although my partner of 4 years had) so I used a cold sore patch to help it heal. Unfortunately this massively exacerbated the problem and it turned into a full blown staph infection that I then needed weeks of antibiotics to treat. It left a scar which had just about healed.

Roll around this week and with no warning (no tingle, no pain), I had a tiny bump appear on my lip. Within 6 hours it was a fluid filled blister and now 5 days later it looks like this, with more new fluid filled blisters showing up above it this morning.

I have no idea if this is staph, a cold sore, some horrible combination of both. My Dr told me not to put anything on it for now, but gave me fucidin "just in case". I have applied it once this morning when the new bumps appeared.

Images show first bump and now 5 days later.

TLDR; coldsore or???

Out of nowhere he's asked me to drop everything, reschedule all my current projects, and produce 100+ elements that will take me about 35hrs. I can't do this because we have multiple conferences coming up that were prioritised long before this. He has responded by hounding me multiple times a day for different versions of my work so he can train ai with it and generate the elements he needs.

I'm livid. And exhausted.

Company touts itself as super ethical and b Corp etc, I fought and brought up multiple reasons why this is a bad ideas, plus offered him alternatives and placeholders, to no avail. He's just pointlessly mindlessly lazer focused on completing this (frankly non urgent) project. I've cried 3 times in the last 24hrs and can feel the burnout/crashout speeding towards me.

I'm terrified that this is the start of him feeling like he's a qualified designer now and the downfall of my job. But more than that, I'm just so, utterly utterly exhausted.
