Is this Offensive to fans?

Is this Offensive to fans?

I'll be honest, I don't know much about LOTR. I've seen the main movies once when I was little(I'm going to be watching them again soon) I was approached by someone on insta who wanted me to make them a blanket. (I crochet) We spent a lot of time brain storming before they settled on a door from the movie.

In the discussion process I made this based on some images from the movies I saw, a volcano and a tree that seemed to come up a lot. I think it's super cute and kinda cool. They seemed to get kinda upset and said it made zero sense. They would not clarify further. I was just curious what other fans thought of it

Thank you in advance to any and all responses!!

It looks like a smiley face😭😄

My book universe so far, I'm still working on adding everything back I lost a while ago. But I almost don't want to add anything because it looks so cute right now😂

How much of the way you speak stays with you from childhood? Does it stay like a habit, or change with more life experience?

I'm writing a story and had a question about how slang/speech changes over a person's life.

Do you still use slang, phrases, sayings, or speech habits from when you were a kid/teenager? Or did the way you talk mostly change over time based on the people around you?

For example, if someone left society young and then spent decades around people from completely different generations, would you expect them to keep using phrases from their childhood/teen years? Or would they naturally adapt to the speech of the newer people around them?

I’m especially curious about whether age matters here.

Like:

- If someone was only around 7 years old when they stopped being around people from their own time period, would their original slang/speech habits probably stick? Or would they mostly absorb the way the older/newer people around them talked instead?

- Would a teenager hold onto more of the slang they grew up with?

- Would adults be the most likely to keep their original speech patterns?

Basically: how much of the way you speak stays with you from childhood, and how much changes depending on who you spend your life around?

I FUCKING KNEW IT!!? (Just finished the reckoning)

I did not in fact know it. Okay I kinda knew it but I was wrong.

SPOILERS!!!!

I just finished the reckoning. PHOENIX???

The entire time reading ruthless boys, after Gabriel went into the cave and had that whole thing with the Phoenix to combat against kings power. I was CONVINCED for the rest of that series he was going to emerge as a Phoenix. That he wasn't actually a harpy. So much so I was shocked that it didn't happen in the last book when he and Ryder got stuck under all that rubble.

IT WAS THE GIRLS!!?? I can't even do words right now, I'm starting the next one immediately!

Also, Seth is annoying the hell out of me, and stressing me out beyond. I think he's going to figure out lance and blue in the next book.

Tori is kinda baffling to me right now. She's so angry at Darius, which I get it, but also. She should have the Intelligence to realize, especially cus she saw it in him multiple times, that Darius didn't want this to happen to her. And he was LITERALLY in the process of reaching her when they brought out xavier. As someone who would do anything to save Darcy, she should know Darius would do the same for Xavier. I get being upset, but vowing to make him sorry after he's apologizing and clearly wanted to help her and wanted nothing to do with this, is just like.... SERIOUSLY?

The shadows??? Does this mean they are all "shadow daddies" now??? Do they have nymph in them now?? I'm simply DYING!

Starting the next book right now!!!

Thank you in advance for any and all responses❤️‼️
